Ol' Savannah is a Montreal-based folk band founded by Speedy Johnson and Bartleby J. Budde. The two began writing songs together in 2009, highly influenced by folk, roots, and blues artists, such as Mississippi Fred McDowell and John Hurt. Ol' Savannah have released four albums: Ol' Savannah (independent, 2011), Underneath the Old Red Barn (independent, 2012), Death on the Mountain (Coup d'Griffe, 2013), and Burden (Socan, 2017). In 2015, the band released two EPs: Don't Let It Reign, a single including three songs, and On A Trip To Normal, including 5 songs.

Ol' Savannah's style has been compared to a mix of Tom Waits, Roscoe Holcomb, Muddy Waters, and The Pogues.

Ol' Savannah have made multiple appearances on Halifax, Nova Scotia's waterfront as part of the Halifax International Busker Festival.

In October 2017, the band went on their first six-week European tour.

In June 2015, the band performed at the Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal.

In 2013, 2014, and 2015 Cult MTL readers' poll voted Ol' Savannah in the top 5 of the "Best Country/Folk Act" in Montreal, placing the group in the company of acts such as The Barr Brothers and Katie Moore.
