  • Guilherme Aparecido Dantas better known by his stage name MC Guimê (born December 10, 1992), is a Brazilian funk singer, nominated to several awards such as Europe Music Awards, Kids Choice Awards, Meus Prêmios Nick (KCA's Brazil), Prêmio Multishow, and Dubai Music Awards. Guime has started his career in 2009, after being discovered by his manager while working in concerts distributing flyers. Guime comes from a personal history to write a book, when born his parents were told he would need a special health care once he was born 6 months old due to complications during the pregnancy. He was raised in normal conditions and no special health care needs, considered as a miracle by the doctors.

    Born and raised in Osasco by his father Paulo, Guime worked in flyers distributions in live events, open markets and a registry office to help his father. At the age of 16 started to write his first songs now known by the Brazilian fans.

    After his first smash hit "Tá Patrão", Guime got the average of 40 shows in a month, and after his second single 'Plaque de 100', he was considered an artist to watch. His third Single was "Na Pista Eu Arraso" and 4th single was "País do Futebol". It was the unofficial soccer anthem for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and was featured in several websites around the world. Placed 1st in every chart in Brazil and iTunes. In 2014 Guime has his newest single featuring Soulja Boy, "Brazil We Flexing" is the first official international feature by the Brazilian artist and Maximo which has his rights says it is the first of at least seven big collaborations with international artists to come in this season between 2014 and 2015. Guime has the biggest numbers in the history of Brazilian YouTube in Music category, 4 music videos resulting in 160 million views on his official channel, the first artist to place 3 singles in a row with more than 40 million views and he is the first artist to reach 1 million views in a music video debut in one day as it happened in "País do Futebol", all video are held by Maximo YouTube network that belongs to Maximo Music Label.
